The Kinder Curriculum

Crafted as a holistic, nature-inspired journey for children aged 10 months to 5 years, our intuitive approach blends play-based exploration with mindful guidance. At Kinder Roots, learning unfolds through five unique Paths – Sky, Coral, Sage, Neon, and Forest – each representing a distinct stage of growth and discovery. Just as roots branch out beneath the surface, these Paths guide children as they explore the world.

The Kinder Ecosystem

With over 25 years of experience shaping Canada’s childcare landscape and building early learning centres nationwide, our founding team designed the Kinder Curriculum to reflect a deep understanding of children’s health, safety, education, and emotional development. Guided by leaders in Early Childhood Education and Administration, we’ve built systems that ensure consistent quality - integrating educator onboarding, leadership training, and continuous improvement practices that strengthen every classroom experience.

Educators make up the heart of Kinder Roots. Walking alongside our little ones, they are the caretakers of the grove. When one grows, the whole ecosystem blossoms.

Like an open sky, this blue hue reflects the boundless nature of a child's inner world. Children flourish when their early relationships are secure and nurturing. In the Sky Path, we build the foundation for a strong sense of self—one that allows children to explore the world with curiosity and resilience. Through shared experiences and meaningful relationships, children learn to connect with others and contribute to a harmonious community.
